Follow Your Submission

This guide shows how you watch an offer or a report after you send it. At the end you know the state, and you know where the rest of the story lives.

You follow your own rows in NUU Experience. You do not follow them inside the app where you sent them.

Prerequisites

  • You already sent an offer or a report. See Offer a Suggestion or Report a Bug.
  • You have a NUU membership. A guest cannot open NUU Experience.
  • You are signed in.

Open your list

Open NUU Experience. After you sign in, you land on your offers.

  • Open your offers to follow suggestions.
  • Open your reports to follow bugs.

Each list shows only your rows. Each row shows the title, the app, the state, and the time you sent it.

If the list is long, filter by app or by state. Search by title if you remember a word from it.

Read the state

The state is the first answer. Offers and reports use different words. Learn them in About States.

For an offer, pending means staff have not queued it yet. Queued means it is in play. Accepted means they took the idea. On hold and expired mean they paused or closed it without accepting it.

For a report, open means it is new. Confirmed means staff saw the bug. Fixed means they resolved it. Cannot reproduce and duplicate are other final answers.

Open the row

Open the row for the full record.

You see the body you sent. You see the picture if one arrived. You see who sent it and when.

If staff accepted the offer, you see the acceptance. It can name the app, a version, and the changelog update.

If staff fixed the report, you see the resolution. It can name the changelog update and the change text.

If staff marked the report as a duplicate, you see the other report.

You also see comments and changes on the row, oldest first. You can leave a comment. Staff reply here when they look at it.

What you cannot do here

You cannot change the state. Only staff move states.

You cannot see other people's submissions. Staff see those in the queue.

You cannot edit the original title and body from this screen. Add a comment if you have more to say.

When the story moves to the changelog

Accepted and fixed often mean a changelog update now names your row. Open that app and read its changelog. If your submission is linked, you appear as a contributor. See Read the Changelog.

If the state is expired, cannot reproduce, or duplicate, the loop ends in NUU Experience. There may be no changelog line.
