NUU Guide

Introduction

NUU Experience is the shared feedback loop for the NUU suite.

You work in other NUU apps. When something is missing, you offer a suggestion. When something is wrong, you report a bug. Both actions start from your account menu in the app you are using. You must be signed in with your NUU account.

The submission lands in NUU Experience. You do not send mail. You do not open a separate form on another site. The app you are in sends the offer or the report for you.

NUU Experience is the place where those submissions live. You can open it and see your own offers and reports. You can see the state of each one. You can open one row and read the body, any picture you sent, and any comments.

Staff use NUU Experience to review every submission. They change states. They group work that shipped into a changelog update. They publish the update. Each NUU app then shows that update in its own changelog.

People who offered the linked suggestions or reported the linked bugs are credited as contributors. The changelog shows a name and a picture. It does not show an email.

Who it is for

NUU Experience is for two groups.

  • Members who use NUU apps and want to send feedback, follow it, and read what shipped.
  • Staff who review the queue and publish changelog updates.

A guest cannot open NUU Experience. Choose a membership, then come back. Your offers and reports wait for you.

You can read an app changelog without extra steps in that app. You must be signed in to offer a suggestion or report a bug.

The problem it solves

Without NUU Experience, feedback is scattered. A suggestion lives in chat. A bug lives in mail. You cannot see what happened after you sent it. A changelog, if it exists, does not credit the people who asked for the change.

NUU Experience keeps one loop. You offer and report in the app. You follow the state in NUU Experience. You read the result in the app changelog, with credit.

Where it fits

NUU Experience is not a daily work app. You do not plan tasks here. You do not write documents here.

Other NUU products are where you do that work. NUU Experience sits beside them. It collects offers and reports from every connected app. It returns a published changelog to that same app.

The loop has four parts.

  1. You send an offer or a report from a NUU app.
  2. You follow the state in NUU Experience.
  3. Staff review the queue and write an update.
  4. The app shows the published update, and credits you when your submission is linked.

Start with the nouns.

Then learn how an offer and a report differ.
