Introduction
NUU Operations is the delivery system for a person and for an organisation.
You use it to turn work into a clear chain. A project holds deliverables. A deliverable holds a graph of subsections. Each deliverable has one closer. Completing the closer is the delivery signal.
The product is for people who ship work with others. It is also for a person who ships work alone. You sign in with your NUU account. You then work in a workspace.
The problem it solves
Delivery work often lives in many places. Tasks sit in a list. Plans live in a document. Dates live in a calendar. The graph that decides what is ready next is missing.
Operations keeps that graph in one place. You see what is ready. You see what is blocked. You see what closed a deliverable.
A task is one model. It can live in the master backlog, in a project backlog, or in a subsection. The same task can show on a plan and on the map of the organisation.
Where it fits
NUU has more than one product. Each product has a job.
- Your NUU account is how you sign in. It also lists the organisations you belong to.
- NUU Operations is the shared delivery record. It holds projects, deliverables, tasks, plans, and deadlines.
- Strikes live inside Operations. They are your personal execution layer. They are not a team list.
- NUU Guide is this documentation site. It explains the products in conceptual terms.
Operations does not replace your thinking notes. It records what must be delivered, in what order, and when it is done.
What you work with
You switch between a personal workspace and each organisation you belong to. Work in an organisation is shared. Work in your personal workspace is yours.
A project is the top container. You add deliverables to a project. You add subsections to a deliverable. You add tasks to a subsection, to a project backlog, or to the master backlog.
Dates live on deadlines, not on the records they attach to. The calendar shows those dates for the active workspace. Deadlines also have a personal view across every organisation you belong to.
The map shows the delivery graph for the organisation. Plans show what is workable now across projects. Activity shows what changed. Notifications tell you when a task, a plan step, or a deadline involves you. The changelog shows what is new in the product.
